At last year’s Le Weekend festival a room was set aside to allow anyone to take part in open improvisational sessions led by the versatile and wonderful saxophonist Raymond MacDonald.

So much fun was had by all and some surprisingly good music happened at these sessions that we decided we had to create a regular slot for The Room.

These sessions are for everyone (no experience necessary) to drop in and play, listen and talk.

Bring an instrument or make use of what we have in the room. Raymond MacDonald and members of the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra will facilitate these sessions.
